The decompression allows water, oxygen and nutrients to once again get into the spinal discs and flush out inflammation which is contributing to the pain. At the same time the pressure reduces onto the spinal discs and the disc releases the pressure upon the spinal nerve and in this fashion, the pain then reduces. We then utilize specific spinal stabilization exercises and protocols which aid in the stability of the spine and help prevent the pain from reoccurring.
