NSSD Therapy or Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression is a very effective treatment developed by a team of researchers and studied to be proven highly effective for disc pain sufferers by Stanford University, Johns Hopkins and Mayo clinic. The treatment involves a gentle stretching of the spine which in turn reduces the pressure, distracts the disc off on the nerves that are producing the pain and at the same time allows the disc to get their water, oxygen and nutrients to begin healing the disc and flushes out the swelling and inflammation causing some of the pain as well.
