Our clinic founder & Director, Dr. Boelk has personally been affected greatly by chronic low back pain, disc herniations, sciatica that resulted from a fractured spine at 16 years of age. His life was dramatically altered and his ability to train in the sports he excelled at was forever altered, baseball, football, basketball, hockey, skateboarding, golf. He was not able to train as much, long or as hard as he would have liked but he pushed forward and still trained and played at very high levels. He has learned a significant amount over the 29 years since he fractured his back and utilizes that knowledge on a daily basis for himself and his patients. Today at 45 years old, he still play hockey, surfs, golfs and works out 5-6 days per week.
